Printing Templates

Digital Revolution strives to provide you with the best possible print quality for your project. Our Fiery Laser printers create beautiful CMYK prints for covers, inserts and labels. Our Everest II Thermal Printers use a superior CMY film process that creates a glossy direct to disc print.
For Replication we use Silk Screen and Offset printing depending upon how many PMS colors your order requires. This is the same kind of printing used on Hollywood movie or music discs.

There is a $12 setup charge for each art element, (i.e. disc art, dvd sleeve, etc...) The art charge does not apply to simple text.

All Photoshop files must have:
Rasterized fonts.
300 pixels-per-inch resolution
Unflattened layers

All artwork must be setup on Digital Revolution templates, or hourly graphic design charges will apply.

Disc face: Artwork on the CD or DVD itself.
(FIERY Labels are applied to disc, EVEREST is on disc printing)
DVD Movie Box: Tall case used for feature films. Mostly DVDs.
DVD Movie Box Insert: A single sheet inside the tall case.
Small Cover: Same style as tall case, but 1/2 height.
Small Insert: Single sheet inside the small case.
DVD / CD Templates
Templates can be used for CDs or DVDs. Templates are in Photoshop format (.psd).

These are available for your use free of charge. We do not provide the trademarked Logos due to licensing reasons. If you would like more information about the trademarked version of DVD logos, please click here.

Printing Specifications for submitting Artwork:
Digital Revolution only accepts documents in Adobe Photoshop (.psd) format. Please use our templates and follow the directions provided.

Any artwork not submitted on our templates will be billed with an additional graphic design fee of $25 per 15 minutes (15 minute minimum).
Make sure:

  1. all fonts are rasterized,
  2. layers are kept intact
  3. bleed is provided.
